The following refund options are available through our site:
Traditional Paper Check:
This option will take the most time for you to receive your refund. Turn-around times are generally anywhere from 2 1/2 to 4 weeks. The check is mailed directly from the IRS to the mailing address on the tax return.
Direct Deposit:
The refund is deposited into your bank account in 7-14 days from the date the return is accepted.
RAL Direct:
The refund is deposited into your bank account in 24-48 hours from the date the return was accepted. Additional bank fees apply for this service, and will be deducted from the refund. NOTE: Some banks take 2-3 business days to release the funds to you.
Bonus Direct:
The refund is deposited into your bank account in 7-10 days from the date the return was accepted. Additional bank fees apply for this service, and will be deducted from the refund. NOTE: Some banks take 2-3 business days to release the funds to you.
Of course, the most economical option is the direct deposit, unless you need your refund in the next 1-3 days. Keep in mind that the preparation fee is the same for all refund options. The bank fees will be listed before choosing your method of refund. Once you've decided on the method, the net deposit will reflect the refund less prep fees and bank fees (if a bank product is chosen).
